Mural in progress. In preparation for creating the mural, we spent time looking at creeks and water, particularly Scotts Creek and Waddell Creek on the North Coast. The irregular surface is meant to depict the turbulent waters of a swollen creek. Most of the materials were recycled. At a crucial time in material-gathering, we were introduced to a local tile setter who generously shared his collection of 30 years worth of salvaged tile.
